EVs – The Future Jaguar Lineup

EVs The Future of Jaguar

Jaguar is going all-electric with a brand-new lineup slated to roll off the assembly line in 2025. So, say goodbye to the F-PACE, E-PACE, and even the I-PACE. The big bosses in Coventry decided to wipe the board clean and put down every model in the current Jaguar lineup in favor of a fresh EV rebranding. May their gas-pumping hearts rest in peace.

Jaguar's new lineup will include three EV models, all sitting on the long JEA wheelbase. A four-seater grand tourer will spearhead the arrival of the new lineup and, according to Jaguar insiders, an SUV roughly the size of the Bentley Bentayga will quickly follow it. The final model to arrive will be a stretched-out, de facto XJ replacement. The longer saloon car will feature a more luxurious cabin and a cushy suspension system for a cloudlike riding experience.

All three models are expected to be equipped with four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. The EVs will have ultra-fast charging capability able to charge from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 13 minutes and drivers can expect a driving range between 385 and 475 miles. The EVs will feature three juiced-up motors packing 450 horses or more.

The last big change for the Jaguar brand is the retirement of the iconic wild cat logo. Although the potency of these vehicles definitely warrants it, the leaping cat that once adorned the hood of the performance vehicles is no more. Instead, the brand will spell out "Jaguar" in text on the front and rear of the vehicles. Jaguar's rebranding effort is part of a larger strategy for the entire JLR family. Instead of two brands - Jaguar and Land Rover - JLR is adopting a "House of Brands" approach. Although they'll still carry the Land Rover badging, Range Rover, Defender, and Discovery will be distinguished as separate brands alongside Jaguar.
