2024 Jaguar BEV Lineup

Jaguar’s New Lineup of BEVs

This month (June 2024) marks the end of an era for the Jaguar brand. The brand is ending production of its conventional combustion engine vehicles to prepare for its all-electric future. That means the 2024 model of the F-Pace, E-Pace, and the F-Type will be their last.

For the 2025 model year, the brand we’ve all known for crafting high-performance vehicles will solely manufacture cutting-edge EV models. The new lineup will include three new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) built on the JEA (Jaguar Electric Architecture) platform. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming BEV lineup thus far.

Jaguar Electric Architecture

As of this writing, Jaguar plans to release the first BEV model in late 2024 with availability beginning in mid-2025. The second is slated to debut in the winter of 2025 and the third will hit the market early the following year.

Four Seat GT

The first model the brand plans to release is a four-seat GT model the brand estimates will have 430 miles of range. The gas-powered Jaguar models of the old were made for the fast-lane and the new models might have different power sources but power and performance are still their heart and soul. The new GT model will reportedly have an output of more than 575 horsepower making it the fastest road car the brand has ever produced. Some critics anticipate a power range of up to 600 horses. Farewell to the I-Pace

In addition to the traditional gas-powered Jaguar models, the I-Pace will also be retired this year. However, if you want to get a taste of what the new all-electric future of the Jaguar brand will look like, the I-Pace is a good indicator. The I-Pace isn’t built on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture but it does manage to embody everything we love about the classic Jag while embracing advanced electric technology.

The I-Pace debuted in 2018 with a distinguished exterior design, a chic interior, and the poised driving manners one expects from a Jag. Those features still set it apart today. The 2024 model features a Meridian sound system, performance seats, cross-stitched leather upholstery, and a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with intuitive menus and snappy graphics.

Its EV motor churns or 394 horsepower and 512 lb-ft of torque giving it enough instant oomph to hit 60 miles an hour in only 4.3 seconds. (zero-60 speed estimated from a controlled test environment. Real-world experiences may differ.) The luxury electric SUV has a manufacturer-estimated range of 285 miles on a single charge. When it’s time to refresh the battery, drivers can plug it into a DC fast charger and reach 80 percent capacity in only 40 minutes.
